Where are the people clicking my links located? How can I measure my campaign using location and time? Good tracking systems can help you make better business decisions and can give you a better description of your audience. Here are a couple ways you can track and measure your Twitter link traffic in more detail.

This method has three components - Google Tool: URL Builder, Google Analytics and any URL Shortener (in this case we'll use Hootsuite's Ow.ly)

1. USING GOOGLE ANALYTICS DIMENSIONS TO ANALYZE TRAFFIC SOURCES

2. USING GOOGLE ANALYTICS URL BUILDER

You can access Google Analytics URL Builder Tool in the support area.

3. USING HOOTSUITE URL BUILDER TOOL

Hootsuite has its own URL Builder tool integrated with their URL shorteners Ow.ly or Ht.ly. You can customize it to analyze Google Analytics or any other tagging system you may have available. You can also record presets.
